James Friedman is also a Certified Police Chaplain with the Eastpointe Police Department, the Saint Clair Shores Police Department and ReservePolice Officer and Certified Police Chaplain for the New Baltimore Police Department. He is the Police Chaplain for the Macomb County Police Chief’s Association, as well as Program Director, Instructor and Chaplain for the Macomb Community College Criminal Justice Training Center for the Basic Police Academy and Advanced police training. Pastor Friedman is a frequent presenter on the topic of Culture Diversity and Awareness at both the police academy and for advanced training.

He has instructed all over the Detroit Metro Area. Pastor Friedman is the Chairman of the PACE (Police and Community for Equality) Group and also sits on a number of community, civic boards and organizations. He appears regularly on the “Ask the Pastor” Television show on the Total Christian Television (TCT) Network and a number of other programs on the same station. James has been married to Lee Friedman for over thirty-five years. They have four wonderful children and two grandchildren.
